MORGAN :

It’s coming from the Listenoise brothers’ quarters…?

AGLOVALE :

LAMORAK, STOP IT!

[ he grabs lamorak’s arm. ]

Calm down! Let go of him!

[ lamorak elbows him into a bookshelf oof ]

KAY :

What’s going on here?!

What⎯

[ he tries to grapple lamorak off percy. ]

Kid’s damn strong!

[ bedivere pulls percy to him. ]

AGLOVALE :

Kay!

You’re going to choke him, sto⎯

MORGAN :

Out of the way, Kay!

KAY :

Bloody hell, Morgan, where were you?!

Isn’t it your job to watch over him, see that everything’s alright?!

You⎯

BEDIVERE :

HEY!

MORGAN :

Do you want to be next, Bedivere?

[ bedivere stands. ]

BEDIVERE :

By all means, do try me.

MORGAN :

PERCIVAL :

Aglovale!

MORGAN :

Let me take a look at you.

AGLOVALE :

N…No…

MORGAN :

That was an order, not a request.

AGLOVALE :

MORGAN :

…It’s imperative you get some rest, as well as proper treatment.

As for Lamorak, I’m afraid the Grail’s influence will only manifest more and more often as time goes by.

BEDIVERE :

What are you suggesting?

MORGAN :

He should be isolated.

Somewhere he won’t hurt anyone, until the Grail is found.

You’d also benefit from it if we found someplace near the seaside, Aglovale.

I’ll care for the two of you, of course.

BEDIVERE :

That shouldn’t be too hard to find.

AGLOVALE :

Come now, I have work to do⎯

BEDIVERE :

You’re going to do as we tell you and take care of yourself.

Am I clear?

[ cut to world’s sleepiest breakfast ]

ARTHUR :

…Short night?

KAY :

Because of your sister, that bi⎯

GUINEVERE :

Kay.

I like Morgan very much, and I won’t tolerate your making that kind of comment about her.

KAY :

I’ll make an effort for you, my queen. <3

ARTHUR :

While we’re at it, I’d like you to⎯

KAY :

No, I’m not making any effort for you.

ARTHUR :

I’m not in the mood for this, Kay.

GUINEVERE :

Could one of you be so kind as to explain what happened last night for me?

BEDIVERE :

Lamorak had an attack again, like he did on Samhain.

Morgan’s offering to look after him and Aglovale by the seaside, in the south, and to keep Percival away, since he seems to be Lamorak’s main target when he loses it.

Bors just got here, he offered to keep an eye on Percival.

And he confirmed that Tristan and Iseult are in a safe place now.

No word from Mark.

ARTHUR :

We can’t overlook what he did to a member of the Round Table, though,

nephew or not.

But I would have the advantage if Dinadan and Palamedes hadn’t rushed in so recklessly.

GUINEVERE :

Tristan may not be of this world anymore if they hadn’t, Arthur.

ARTHUR :

In terms of facts, there’s no way we can know that now.

What’s the point of handling all this if my knights will do as they please regardless…

KAY :

What do you propose we do?

Din’s already spent three days in jail, and he wasn’t so wrong to go after Mark, if you want my opinion.

ARTHUR :

I didn’t ask for it, and that’s not the point.

GUINEVERE :

Arthur.

I understand this is a delicate situation, but Mark’s the one who precipitated it.

He’s the one in the wrong for attacking one of your knights, not the others for responding without your say so.

Mark is in a difficult situation. He has nearly no allies on the isle.

Everyone will see that he committed a slight against the Round Table.

ARTHUR :

… [ sighs ]

It’s true, I…

Perhaps I’m just a little on edge.

GUINEVERE :

You should get some rest, my love.

All will be well.

At any rate, I feel bad for Tristan and Iseult. Their situation is quite complicated.

And poor Mordred, too. He had no choice but to get dragged into this adventure.

Maybe it’s time to talk to Gawain and see if his skills will allow him to be knighted.

[ Awkward Silence ]

GUINEVERE :

Why the silence?

KAY :

It’s being discussed, or so I hear.

Even if I don’t agree.

ARTHUR :

It’s not your decision to make.

BEDIVERE :

Are you two done being obnoxious?

GUINEVERE :

Why don’t you agree, Kay?

KAY :

[ stares at athur ]

ARTHUR :

Let’s talk about something else, it doesn’t matter.

GUINEVERE :

But, Arthur⎯

ARTHUR :

Not now.

Please.

GUINEVERE :

Very well.

But I can tell you’re distraught, Arthur. You know…

…you can tell me anything, right?

?? :

Well, well, what a party.

MERLIN :

And you didn’t even save a seat for me.

KAY :

Hey, that’s my brioche!

ARTHUR :

To what do I owe the pleasure, Merlin?

MERLIN :

Oh, right.

The hound’s ready.

ROUND TABLE TRIVIA

It is customary to eat two meals a day : lunch between 10 and 11, then dinner between 4 and 7.

Bedivere :

It’s not always in good spirits, though.

Arthur :

I’m sick of you, Kay!

Kay :

Well, I’ll have you know I’m sick of you!

The king usually eats lunch in a smaller group, with his close family members.

NPC :

[ idk how to tl this rn it’s like. patois for hungry ig ]

One’s schedule is usually determined by status, though : peasants time their meals in accordance to their work in the field.
