Foreign Children Especially Japanese-Filipino Children

This cycle I researched about Japanese-Filipino children and an organization to support Japanese-Filipino children, JFC.

At first, I showed my partners the number of migration and refugee. And I heard half of them are children. I thought most serious issue is the treatment of foreign children. They have two type issues, poverty and language. So they cannot earn enough money and get enough education.

At second, I talked about Filipino people in Japan because 209,373 people of foreigners in Japan are Filipino people. And many of them get married Japanese men, but there are a lot of single mother between them because of divorce or separation. These mothers and their children faced on poverty and also education issue.

Finally I introduced an organization to support Japanese-Filipino children. They conduct 3 type supports, legal assistance activities, life and education support activities and spread enlightenment activities.

We discuss two questions. First is whether Japanese government should accept foreigners strictly like current. I think some of foreign workers give us bad effect because they cannot understand the common sense of Japan. On the other hand, others help us on some aspects like medical care and welfare. So Japanese government should carefully consider. And Yuri said Japanese government have to improve the system to accept foreigners before we think whether we should accept strictly or not.
