How to confirm comx-base and comx-gui versions

How to check which version of comx-base and comx-gui your Com.X is running from the GUI

1. Log into the Comma GUI of your Com.X

2. An 'About' Page should load

3. Check under Base software for the the version of the comx-base. (See About Page screen shot below)

4. Check under Application software for version of the comx-gui. (See About Page screen shot below)

How to check which version of comx-base and comx-gui your Com.X is running from System Maintenance

1. Log into the GUI

2. Select the 'Start' tab

3. Select 'System Maintenance'.

4. The System Maintenance screen will come up.

5. Select the 'Packages' tab. A page should load will asking if you want to check for updates

6. A page should load asking if you want to check for updates, select 'Yes' , this will check if any updates are available.

7. Under the heading 'Packages', the comx-base and comx-gui packages with their versions will be displayed, as well as if they are up to date. ( see screen shot below)

How to check which version of comx-base and comx-gui your Com.X is running from the command line

1. From the command line type :

>dpkg -l | grep comx

2. The versions of comx-base and comx-gui will appear on screen. ( see screen shot below)
