Accessing Wanderbox via USB port
The Wanderbox server supports console access via its USB2.0 OTG port using a USB-A(M) to USB-A(M) cable
1. Connect the USB cable to the Wanderbox and your PC
2. Wait for the network to establish.
3.Once connection is established you will be able to access Wanderbox from the IP address 192.168.102.1
Accessing Wanderbox via Wi-fi
The Wanderbox server supports SSH and GUI access via its Wi-FI access point, with WLAN standards of IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 2.4GHZ. on the wlan0 interface.
1. Ensure the antenna is connected to the Wanderbox.
2. Ensure laptop or tablet device supports WPA2/PSK.
3. On your device go to Wi-Fi settings
4. locate the SSID of your Wanderbox which will the serial number of unit in the form of “FSN8Xxxxxx”
5. When prompted for password, enter 'wanderbox' as pass phrase
6. On connecting successfully you will receive an IP address and the unit will be the gateway address on your Wi-Fi network settings
7. Once connection is established you will be able to access the Wanderbox from the IP address 192.168.104.1
Wanderbox Duo Wi-Fi Access Point connectivity:
WLAN standards : IEEE 802.11b/g/n, 2.4GHz
Interface : wlan0
Channel : 1
ssid
: (Defaulted to the system serial number,eg. “FSN8Xxxxxx”)
wpa_passphrase
: wanderbox
If you are going to connect via Wi-Fi please ensure the antenna is connected to the
Wanderbox Duo and that your laptop or tablet supports WPA2 /PSK.
On your device go to Wi-Fi settings and locate the SSID of your
Wanderbox“FSN8Xxxxxx”
You will now be prompted for a pass_phrase. The pass_phrase may be changed in
the GUI under networking.
On connecting successfully you will receive an IP address and the unit will be the
gateway address on your Wi-Fi network settings.
Open your browser (chrome is recommended) and browse to the IP address in the
browser address bar.
