Dual PRI (2P) Gateway Setup

Dual PRI (2P) Gateway best practice setup with a single hardware device with two PRI ports: In which P1 (PRI port 1) will be connected to the Telco device and P2 (PRI port 2) will be connected to the Legacy PBX.

1. Log into Comma GUI. (How to log into the Comma GUI of your Wanderbox or Com.X )
2. Select Start
3. Select Configuration

1. Select Hardware

1. The Comma ITA 2P device (int1) will be listed under devices.

1. Right Click on the Comma ITA
2. Select Edit

1. Set the Timing Mode as PRI Priority 1

1. Select Accept
2. Under Ports on the left hand side, Right click on P1
3. Select Edit

1. Set the Signalling Role to Terminal. (This port P1 will be connected to the telco device)

1. Select Accept
2. Under Ports on the left hand side, Right click on P2
3. Select Edit

1. Set the Signalling Role to Network. (This port P2 will be connected to the Legacy PBX)
2. Enable transmit clocking. (Com.X will then transmit the clocking to Legacy PBX, it receives from the telco device)

1. Select Accept
2. Select Review Apply
