Matching extension numbers directly

To strip the leading digits from an inbound DID, so as to send only the last 4 digits, and have them match extension numbers directly, follow the below process.

1. Log into Com.X GUI.
2. Select Start
3. Select Configuration.
4. Select FlexPath
5. . Select Add
6. Name the Flexpath as you please. (see example below)

7. Select Accept

8. Review Apply

9.Select Options in right corner of Path added

10. Select Add Route

11. Select Match, at Routing mode.

12. At the Pattern enter the first 6 digits followed by pipe character, and then X. (The pipe character indicates the strip position, in which the digits before pipe character stripped away, and matches the proceeding)

13. At Destination select Inbound Direct

1. Select Accept
2. Review Apply
3. Under Ports section of Flexpath Tab, right click on configured trunk(SIP, BRI, PRI, Analog)

1. Assign the configured Flexpath (myPath) to the trunk.

By assigning the configured flexpath to the trunk where calls come in over, the firs 6 digits of "021700" will be stripped away and match the last 4 digits directly to extension.
