1.5 Wanderbox systems now offers console access via the USB port which now acts as a COM port
Console access allows you back-end access to the Wanderbox when you are unable to access the system via the other interfaces
- To access the COM port on the Wanderbox you will need a USB-to-USB cable, with the one end of the cable going into the bottom USB port(Bottom USB port is the COM port), and the other end of cable going to your PC.
- You will need to establish what COM port the cable is connected to.
- Then open up putty, select 'Serial' as the the Connection Type
- Enter Serial line(this will be the COM port) and the Speed (this will always be 11520)
- Select Open
You will be required to enter the username which is comma and the password(default password being 'farsouth').
