Animal vs. Plant Cells (Erango Kelbisow)

I have a whole bunch of prepared slide packages that I have collected the last couple of years. I use this lab at the beginning of the year just to have my students "play" with a microscope and learn what I want as far as an "Observation" is concerned.

I then introduce the activity again when we begin our discussion of the differences between Animal and Plant cells. This is a basic lab that I use as a "Friday Fun Lab" after a quiz or test.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

1. Prepared slides of an animal and plant cell. You can get these from Flinn Scientific for pretty cheap.
