The 4th program, ‘Bulgaria Tips’ was conducted on 2016/7/6

The 4th program, ‘Bulgaria Tips’was conducted on 2016/7/6 (Wednesday) in Lunch time from 12:25 to 12:45 (20 minute) with the content of “Global Tips at learning forest”. 

The program was conducted under the project of “Global Tips” at Learning Forest with the mutual aid of Toyo University Research Institute of Human Science and Hakusan Library of Toyo University. One of the objective of this program was to let students know about the exchange program between Sophia University of Bulgaria and Toyo University of Japan.  

There are 40 people participating in Bulgaria Tips program. The first session was started with the introduction of program  by Professor Murata Yumie (Faculty of Regional Development Studies).

The introduction of Bulgaria was started by 2 speakers;Mr. Ivan Botev (Lecturer of International Education Center of Toyo University) and an undergraduate student who is going to study in Bulgaria.

In the second session, presenters showed the geographical location, religion, language, people and so on in Bulgaria.   Mr. Ivan Botev introduced the Bulgarian flower Rose, famous yogurt ブルガリアヨーグルト, Bulgarian wine and a rose festival. He introduced famous and expensive rose water of Bulgaria through exhibition.

Interaction with participants

At the end of the session some Bulgarian cities such as Sophia, Plovdiv, Bulgarian natural beauties, historical places, Rila monastery  and Bulgarian food were explained by speakers.

Some of Bulgarian greetings were practiced with all participants. The objective of program was to encourage student to study abroad in Bulgaria and provide some tips to visit Bulgaria.
