The Marrow Wall

Mountains of bone, the range formed of the titanic skeletal remains of creatures unknown. This unnatural region contains the Obsidian Abyss, yet with each passing year more bone is torn away and sands advance.

Geography

The Alloskeletal Rifts. Ranging along the whole northern edge of the region where it meets the Alloy Expanse, metallics filaments course along the bones drawing them skyward in strange contorted shapes and formations. This border drives many further south, fearing this horrific phenomena.

The Caged Drifts. The miles long chest cavity of a gargantuan serpentine-like being, twisted in and out of itself and fused in mind-bending manners. Any travelers passing within seeking protection from the flaying sandstorms that tear in from the Obsidian Abyss risk becoming caged within.

The Ethereone. At the western edge of the Marrow Wall, the ghost white sediment meeting bone creates a haunting environment as if entering the realms of the dead.

The Scale Wastes. So named for what remains of what is thought to be thousands of dragonkin. Study of this place has revealed that the battle was not sustained, but likely a single great dying.

Thrallgrave. An eerie expanse within the center of the region, marked by a field of the bones of humanoid thralls that had fallen to the madness of the Eldrtich Realms in the Age of Water. Whether a willing mass sacrifice, or the last stand of a fallen army, none are certain. Those who pass into this place tell of latent telepathic echoes of long dead.

Vertebrex. A single titanic spine to the east of the region that has seemingly fused with the other remnants of bone, as if it is ever gathering more with which to fuse.

The Winged Rise. The disembodied skeletal wings of an eldritch titan wreathed in upon themselves, due to the alien nature the flesh and sinew still bind together the wings which are oft mistaken for a lone mountain, rising above the landscape.

Roads and Landmarks

The Crainiux. An immense spherical skull near a mile across its face with a single deep eye socket, none dare believe such a creature to have existed. Those who sojourn through the region tell of its ever differing placement in the region.

The Skelerut. A path carved by the roaming tribes of the Kagyr humans, who in their yearly treks around the edges of the Obsidian Abyss have lain out the millions of bones to pave their way.

Settlements

Damytoph. A hardened settlement of the Slygish humans at the northern edge of the region where it meets the Alloy Expanse. Defined by peerless craft and strange metallic arts, infusing bone and metals to create armaments unlike anything the world over.

Ossioth. The Arkyme Outpost within the region, primarily focused on archeology and eldritch studies. However it is more widely known for the rarified skeletal remains granted promising students of the Mortuum, the Summit of Necromancy in the city of Arkyme. This action is met with scrutiny by many in Arkyme as they demand greater caution be taken with such ancient remains.

Ruins and Subterrane

Under the bones of the Marrow Wall is the domain of its creation, the Buried Kingdom. The region is laden with fissures and chasm that leads to the realms of the Depths, where it is believed the creatures whose remains lie above were attempting to retreat. The multitude of ruins within this region are thought to be among the most ancient and dangerous of those that lie upon the surface of the world.

Syohgulhu. The calcified stone of these eldritch ruins give the appearance they were hewn from bone. Just south of the Spirit Dunes of the Barrens, the Southern Lycan pack treat the ruins as a proving grounds for druids and warriors so they might come to understand the threats beyond reality.
