Deities and Forces of Kyme
The Deities of Kyme
The Prime Gods of Lighted Path and the Shadowed Path along with Lesser Deities, like the Unliving Emperor of the Vampires, and the Travail of the Elves, and even the eldritch gods the Elder Ones comprise the pantheons of Kyme. The Prime Gods of Kyme, the Paths once thought to omnipresent in the aeons past before the multiverse was created, now have their chosen enact their will. Worship and veneration vary wildly throughout the land and even within the races.
The predominant religion is known as The Paths: The Lighted Path represents creative and life sustaining forces, while The Shadowed Path represents the destructive and deathly desires. The Lighted Path is deeply revered as the pillars of civilization and the power that enlivens the world. The Shadowed Path is duly feared and their followers seek to spread the influence of their twisted malfeasance.
The Prime Gods of the Paths are singular and unassailable in their divine nature by other entities lest their creative and destructive powers collapse reality in the multiverse as it is known. Lesser Deities can be either interpretations of the essence of the Prime Gods, entities that have arisen to divine power through sacrifice, or servants of the Prime Gods can be worshiped as more direct patrons or even aspects of their divinity.

The Elder Ones
Only through myth and madness is anything known of these beings, though their influence are an ever-present threat to Kyme. Named as Great Old Ones or Outer Gods, they are unimaginable beings that exist in the darkness beyond time and space in the Outer Realms, with minds unknowable and are an affront to reality. Remnants of their influence can be seen in all corners of the world, the eldritch ruins and the aberrant creatures that gather within them. To grasp any semblance of their form or fraction of their knowledge is to abandon reality as it is known and give oneself over to madness.
These beings are thought to be Elder Ones though none truly dare to know.
Majesty of the Void, The One Most Dreaded, The Unknowable Atrocity, Aahlsder. Its true form is unknown.
The Faceted Psyche, Qeodz. A massive geode of maddeningly faceted bio-crystalline structure with mineral tendrils.
The Wightrider, The Hushing Corpse, Withequa. A supermassive frozen corpse like humanoid, with numerously merging icy blue eyes upon its hands.
The Feeding Darkness, The Holder of Place, D'evdurr'oth. Like a massive mouthed sac with a grasping tendril tongue, its hunger is such it feasts upon itself.
The Razored Vortex, Orm'atl. Appears as a shining wind that becomes a metallic storm that devours everything in its path.
The Warped One, The Cosmic Leech, Shothaln. A being whose endless limbs invisibly pervade all things, the true form unknown.
The Awakened Inferno, Haasth. A living conflagration of unearthly red and violet flame.
The Spawning Horror, Father Daughthuum. A great marine being, whale-like with tentacles and mollusk pseudopods growing egg like pustules.
The Spiraling of First Light, The Mass of Masses, the Emerging Eye, C'tymk. Appears as a swarming blackened light, like that of a trillion trillion pearlescent black spheres.
Lesser Deities
The Unliving Emperor of Duemonte is the unquestioned god of the vampires and a cult of personality surrounds this being, revered as the progenitor of all vampires.
The Eleman revere The Lasting One, an elemental entity that is a union of the elements in a single form. Born from the forces of the Elemental Planes, bringing will to the Elemental Chaos and creating their children the Eleman.
The Dark Elves venerate their ancestors and The Travail, also known as the Undermothers, the three sister queens that led their people into the Depths to create an empire to combat the dragons. Undermother Vithim, wielding her glaive Drim, The Undermother Olmavixa, watching in the dark with her living cloak Veshar, and the Undermother Sithua discoverer of the deep magics all her people now share.
The Lycan hold to animistic beliefs, viewing nature as cyclical and themselves as an extension of that cycle, feeling a close connection to all the wilds of Kyme.
The Draconic worship the Dragon Kings of the Age of Fire known as the Kral Dracaruum, the names now lost, speaking only of them as fallen.
Other Lesser Deities that are servants of the Prime Gods are listed as part of the planes upon which they dwell.
