• Oath of the Watchers (Tasha's Cauldron of Everything). Keeping vigil over Kyme and the endless threats that lie across the planes, these paladins hone their minds and bodies to endure the most malicious of entities. A divifiend harbors the terrible knowledge of demonic corruption, as they strive to stand against that which influenced their creation. Or a vampire stands as an undying sentinel over a wretched eldritch ruin where a fell deathless entity slumbers.

• Oath of Vengeance (Player's Handbook). These paladins are born from grievous fates, whole villages slaughtered, criminal factions run amok, each paladin that swears vengeance does so out of their own sense of justice. A revenant who now wanders his homeland as brutal avenger, for they will not rest until all those who lead to his death are slain. Or a draconic warrior who seeks retribution against the cult of assassins that killed her fellow sellswords.
