Races of Kyme

Many races inhabit Kyme, all with their own histories, cultures, and ideals. All the races have their own unique nature and identity, as well as appearance, some with inherent traits and abilities. The pages below will cover in detail each of the races.

Celehim are born of celestial power and bear the divine burden of being the hands of godly power in a world swarmed by darkness. They often in deed and word represent their good nature, though the darkness of the world can corrupt their light.

Dark Elf are the elves that survived the dragons, their kin dying or fleeing to the realms of the Fae. They live in the ashes of their empire, choosing to flee to the Depths and make the world beneath the world their home.

Divifiend are birthed by the fiendish influence reaching into the world to further sink it towards oblivion. At the edges of society they try to embrace the dark gifts they carry in order to thrive, though some seek to live out other ideals.

Draconic were raised to power with their dragon kin, though the rest of the races slew the dragons to the last. They live on as the final vestige of dragon's power, bearing their ancestry prominently and proudly.

Dwarves are a people of ancient days, once giants they were cursed by their deep delving. Yet they found strength in their craft and have forged for themselves a way of life defined by stalwart defense against the evils of the world.

Eldritch are humanoids warped, spawned, stemmed, or in countless ways beings corrupted by the influence of the Far Realms. The variation in forms are boundless only by the imagination of the Elder Gods that formed them.

Eleman are born from each of the elements and though smaller in stature they have water, fire, air, and earth coursing through them. They approach the world with an energy unknown by the other peoples of Kyme.

Geist are the ghostly spirits of the dead that maintain a connection to their soul, desires, and emotions. Not turning to the deathly despair of other undead spirits.

Humans in Kyme have survived through their adaptable nature and indomitable will to thrive in the face of destruction. Their power centered in the holy metropolis of Synstasia, where the followers of the gods of the Lighted Path rule.

Lycan are born with a bestial spirit, as they have a strong connection to nature and the to the beasts of the lands. They are able to shift into forms of the great predators of the alpine forests and savannah.

Revenants are the undead brought back to wander the world seeking vengeance on those that had slain them. They bear the scars and injuries of what fate befell them, but nothing can come between a revenant and their quarry.

Vampire are humans that forsook their mortality to feast upon the other races. Their once human ambition creating the Empire of Duemonte where they hold to their dark power, though they still share much with their human kin.
