Weekend

A fairly uneventful one as it happens. Yesterday a Northrepps/Trimingham/ Sidestrand combo walk could only muster such delights as Common Buzzard 8 (all presumed local) fem Black Red again, Grey Heron 2 SE, Sparrowhawk 1NW + 7 present and a probable Tree Pipit which I caught sight of late from the garden. Today started well with a group of six Ring Ouzel south of the village, viewed from garden, for most of the morning but then went down hill from there, and by 1230 I'd got bored! . I think the raptors must be avoiding the ash atmosphere as well as the shiny birds! Later in the afternoon I got two 'chups' to the east of the garden and looked to see two sparrows flying south, pretty sure they were Tree Spogeys - bugger!

Ouzel-fest!
