Birder's are a precise breed, by the very nature of our hobby. We are compelled to put a name to everything, categorise, and (forgive the pun) pigeonhole everything we see. Bringing even more context to a sighting is where it's seen, be it within a continental region or from a persons garden...there is an obsession with boundaries! This modest web site aims to highlight the birds of a relatively quiet corner of the Norfolk countryside encompassed by the OS 10km square TG23. This square is primarily rural agricultural land with scattered mixed woodland, a short coastal stretch and a couple of inland lakes. The main focus will be during migration periods, but living within this area, opportunities to see birds are a constant source of inspiration.
