Even though we had company this afternoon (if the mother-in law counts that is!) I couldn't resist my first TG23 'twitch' 36 paces up the road to see the Waxwing that had been reported earlier in the afternoon. The light was pretty grim by 1500 however, which is reflected by the pics! The Water Rail still shows though the Woodcock was noted for its absence.

Water Rail...in there somewhere!
