Snowy Egret!

We got some right proper snow just after eight this morning, horizontal blizzard stuff. I wasn't going to leave for work in that, so just chilled out til about nine when it stopped, and then walked dingbat. Woodcock were down to nine again, with Water Rail still present but nothing else of note. Late morning I decided to try and get to my customers in Lower Southrepps, this paid off a treat as, whilst discussing the more boring points of my visit there a Little Egret flew up from the brook at the bottom of their garden and flew off east. A TG23 tick! (hardcore twitchers please excuse the play on words on the title!)

At dusk a rough guestimate of 1500 Jackdaw and 750 Rook going into roost south of the village.

Old and smells of wee a bit.....but she still loves me despite these faults!
