A look in at Trimingham before work, and a circuit there afterwards could produce nothing more than 4 Whitethroat, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap and a Hobby working the back of the golf ball. My working day today didn't have me in the vicinity of anywhere birdy so I resisted putting my 'scope in the car this morning. Could have been a bad move if I had seen anything rarer, but a lunch time visit to one of the private sites I've access to held a good range of wildfowl including Teal, Shoveler, Wigeon and PIntail, but best of all i managed to pick out a fine Gargany. Whilst watching the latter, a quick scan through the ever arriving/departing small gulls revealed a cute juv Little Gull. Not bad for a lunch break!

Gargany, unfortunately the bulrushes are quite high, hence the crap pics (well crapper than usual!)
