Mid-week fayre

Having been woken up yesterday morning at 0340 by the dogs 'chunder' alarm, I couldn't drop back off and decidede to spend some 'first light' time at the bottom of the garden. This proved a master stroke as two garden ticks were nabbed, the first a flock of Bar-tailed Godwit powered west, dropping from height with twists and turns that any hirundine would be proud of. The second, a sweet trilling Lapland Bunting drifted over the garden before re-orientating north-west - class!

After work a mooch around Trimingham produced a couple of Redstarts but little else.
