Today was somewhat marred by the constant heavy drizzle from 0900 this morning, continuing to about midday, then on and off for the rest of the afternoon. Despite this i did get out and managed a single Lapland Bunting on Hungry Hill, a 1st winter Little Gull over the fields and a couple of Waxings on Rectory Road found by Rose earlier. Although the latter were high in the tree tops, this was to my advantage as they were visible from the top of the garden, resulting in Garden Tick No. 100. It was also good to see 'Bianca' our local adult female 'white' Common Buzzard, her extensive white upper tail base is the most striking I've ever seen.
