Red Alert!

Grafting all morning on the other fireplace was well rewarded when, at 1400, the distinct 'W' shape of a Red Kite came low and close over Shrike Point. I should have realised that the strong westerly would push it behind the East Hedge pretty quick, but wasted viewing time trying to locate my camera. By the time I got back, "there it was, gone" No matter, quality garden tick that I wasn't expecting in December! Same bird presumably reported from Sheringham and at 1500 from Kelling Heath.
