Managed to get up to Trimingham immediately after work this afternoon, try and get an hour or so in before the early night's draw in, as it was, in a blustery and increasingly rainy south-easterly, it was worth a look with migrants still hanging about. In the space of an hour I had Blackcap, a couple of Swallows,Common Swift (hmmm wonder if there maybe any other swift sp. this weekend?!) Whinchat, Redstart and best of all a 1st c/y Hen Harrier being driven west behind the village by the strengthening wind. In Cromer, just before darkness, another Swift went speeding passed the church. With rain lashing at the window, could be another interesting weeekend in Norfolk!
