Bloody Freezin'

Sure it did nt get much above 0 degrees here today. A walk around the village produced a good flock of 21 Common Snipe going west, the most I've ever seen together away from suitable habitat, and throughout the rest of the day 2-3s could be seen from the kitchen window, looking for some feeding areas no doubt. Also seen whilst tiling the utility room, 3 duck coming in from the east proved to be Wigeon, as they headed off over the fields.
