Sea-watching

Post date: Nov 30, 2009 3:15:54 PM

After searching a couple of likely looking sites to sea-watch from on my rather limited stretch of coastline, I decided to revert to the Sheringham method - using the nearest practical site which would provide shelter and 'comfort'. This has worked out to be Mundesley, as I figure that what ever passes through there would more likely have to go through TG23, whereas, say Cromer, where birds would just be as likely to hit the coast coming in from the north and then move west, there by not touching the area at all. All very speculative I know, but decisions have to be made by some means, so why not speculation! So a cold windy morning this morning saw me down Mundesley where soon a kindly MF had introduced himself and offered me a front row seat in the towns top sea-watching venue-sorted!!
