Bears by Jorge Rodriguez 1ºB

Seals by Jesús 1º B

The animal in this photo is a bear. It is a vertebrate animal because it has got a skeleton. Here it’s hunting fish in a river. Some bears are brown and others are grey.

Bears live in forests in Europe, Asia and North America. In spring and autumn they eat vegetables and the rest of the year they eat insects, fish and meat. Females have one or three cubs every two years.

The bear is on the “red list” of animals in danger. Some bears are in danger because there is pollution in the forest. They also die because humans hunt bears. It is important to protect these animals.

Tigers by Cristina Quintana Grande 1ºA

The animal in this photo is the Harbor Seal. The Harbor Seal is not a polar bear but a different type of seals. The Harbor Seal swims in a group in spring. Maybe they´re hunting penguins and mammals here.

Harbor Seals live in the north hemisfere. Females have one pup every ten or eleven months. The Harbor Seal eat fish and squid.

Harbor Seal is small. The male is between 130 and 140 centimetres tall and weighs 100 kilos. The female is between 120 a 170 centimetres.

Tigers by Julia Valle 1ºB

Tigers are predator animals. They´re about 150 kilos. They run very fast.

They normally live in places with lots of trees and tall grass. They sometimes have a cub once a year, they live in caves.

They eat other animals, weaker than them, they are usually very hungry. They feed their cubs with animals too, because they are very small to hunt for food.

Tigers are big cats. They can swim but they can’t fly.

Tigers live in the Jungle and Grassland. They hunt Zebras and Impalas. They are big, runnier and they also are aggressive. Fermales have one or two Cubs every year.

Tigers are on the “red list” of animals in danger. Some tigers are in danger because there is pollution in the Jungle and the Grassland. I think that it is important to protect these animals.

Bees by Julia Pilar 1º B

Lions by Carlos Estébanez Suárez 1º B

My animal is the bee. These animals fly 10 metres in a second and fly from flower to flower. These animals are invertebrate.

They have stripes and they attack humans in summer. These animals have got 6 legs and 5 eyes. They live in groups and they never sleep. Bees eat flowers nectar. The bees will be in a red list because humans kill them. Bees live in a hive and make honey .

People are destroying these hives for the honey. People don’t protect these animals and they are in danger.

The animal in this photo is a lion. Adult lions weigh about 250 kg. They can’t swim but they can run very fast.

Lions live in Africa. They live and hunt on the savanna and grassland. Females have one cub every two year. Lion usually eat impalas, zebras and buffaloes.

Some lions are in danger because there is global warming. I think that it is important to protect these animals.
