On an undated map of Township No. 2—Stamford (Mount Dorchester) in the Surveyor General’s Office, probably drawn in the mid to late 1780’s, James Ramsay was named on Lots 1, 2 and 3 Concession 2 on the Niagara River south of Niagara Falls. The lot was later renumbered.

On a map of Stamford Township No. 2, District of Nassau copied from a map prepared by Philip Frey dated 1791, J. Ramsay was named on a part of the Gore in front of Lots 165 and 166, Stamford Twp.

On a map of Niagara Township dated September 21, 1811, Jas. Ramsay was named on Lots 2 and 34 Niagara Twp.

On a map of Grantham Township No. 3, Nassau dated 25th October 1791, Geo. Reid was named on Lots 6 and 7 Concession 9 and part of Lot 10 Concession 1 Grantham Twp.
