On an undated map of Township No. 2—Stamford (Mount Dorchester) in the Surveyor General’s Office, probably drawn in the mid to late 1780’s, James Park was named on Lot 10 Concession 1 on the Niagara River north of the whirlpool. The lot was later renumbered.

On a map of the Township of Stamford by Surveyor Thos. Ridout, dated December 22, 1813, James Park was named on Lots 21 and 40 Stamford Twp.

On a map of Thorold Township prepared by Surveyor General Thomas Ridout on January 24, 1812 Jas. Park was named on Lots 183 and 184 Thorold Twp. 22

On an undated map of Township No. 3 (Grantham) in the Surveyor General’s Office, probably drawn in the late 1780’s, Benjamin Pawling was listed on Lots 15, 16 and 17 Concession 1 Grantham Twp.

Pawling was named on Lots 15, 16, 17 and 18 Concession 1 and Lots 15, 16 and 17 Concession 2 Grantham Twp.

On a map of Stamford Township No. 2, District of Nassau copied from a map prepared by Philip Frey dated 1791, Math. Pearson was named on Lots 5 and 6 on Chipeway Creek in Stamford Twp.

On a map of the Township of Stamford by Surveyor Thos. Ridout, dated December 22, 1813, Mathew Pierson was named on Lot 205 Stamford Twp.

Phelps, Elijah

On an undated map titled “The New Settlement, Niagara” marking out lots along the west side of the Niagara River,” prepared before 3 May 1783 “Elish Philip” was named on an unnumbered 79 acre farm lot near the base of the Niagara Escarpment on the Niagara River in Niagara Twp.

Powell was named on Lot 11 Concession 1, on Lot 7 Concessions 1 and 2, and on Lots 11 and 12 Concession 3 and on the Broken Front from Lake Erie, Bertie Twp. He had additional listings on Lot 8 Concession 2 and on Lot 9 Concessions 1 and 2 from the Niagara River, and on Lots 5 and 6 in the First Cross Concession on the Niagara River, Bertie Twp. He had listings on Lots 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 from the Niagara River, Bertie Twp.

Powell, William Dummer

On a map of Niagara Township dated September 21, 1811, William D. Powell was named on Lots 93, 94 and 95 Niagara Twp.

On a map of the Township of Stamford by Surveyor Thos. Ridout, dated December 22, 1813, W. D. Powell was named on 100 acres in the Gore between Stamford and Niagara Townships.

On a map of Grantham Township No. 3, Nassau dated 25th October 1791, John Price was named on Lot 14 Concession 4 and Lot 13 Concession 5 Grantham Twp.

On 18 Jan 1791 the Land Board read the petition of John Price for a grant of 200 acres of land in the Township No. 3 (Grantham) and found him qualified for a grant of 200 acres. The order was referred to Acting Surveyor General Augustus Jones who assigned to him two hundred acres in Lot 13 Concession 5 in the Township of No. 3. (Grantham Township Papers 0301)
