Sea grapes grow along our coast and produce fruit in the Fall. The fruit can be used for jelly or wine. Tourists in the 1930s used the thick leathery leaves to write postcards. Today the leaves are used for art. The dried brown leaves were layered to make the turtle below, and have even been used to make dresses for a fashion show!
