Florida’s Giant Blue Land Crabs are HUGE! They can live up to a few miles inland in burrows up to 5 feet long. In Fall during the full moon the females travel to the ocean to lay their eggs. The male crab below is a striking blue color. The female (second picture below) is carrying half a million eggs under her shell!
