There are dozens of Allen's hummingbirds at the University of California Santa Cruz Arboretum right now. They can be seen displaying, nesting, and feeding from the Australia garden flowers. Allen's hummingbirds have the smallest breeding range of any North American hummingbird - they only nest along the California coast and southern Oregon. We think they are especially pretty little hummers!
