When we were at the beach recently, we found a piece of sea glass that had "YARDLEY" embossed on it. We looked it up, and it had to have come from a Yardley lavender perfume bottle manufactured between the 1930's and 1950's. That means the glass was in the ocean for at least 60 years before washing in at our feet. Below is a picture of the glass we found, along with an advertisement for Yardley from 1946.
