The Monterey Bay Aquarium has a 12-week-old rescued baby sea otter named Kit on display, along with her surrogate Mom Mae. Kit is the youngest otter ever to be shown to the public at the aquarium. Although Mae has never been a mother before, she instantly bonded with the pup. Mae has been busy sleeping, eating, and playing with her new companion. Kit mimics everything Mae does, including Mae's own special quirk of sucking her left paw while she sleeps! It is so cute!
