We found an outstanding beach for collecting sea glass at Half Moon Bay. Richard even managed to find one piece of red glass - the "holy grail" of sea glass hunting! Red is extremely rare because it took real gold at the time to make it. Blue, orange, and yellow are also uncommon, with green, white, and brown being the kind most frequently found. We collected a total of 1,618 pieces of sea glass! [966 pieces on Saturday, and 652 pieces on Sunday]
