Charles Schulz painted the wall mural below in 1951 for his baby daughter. Their Colorado home was sold the following year, and over time subsequent homeowners covered the mural with four coats of paint. In 1979, new owners heard about the mural and set about to uncover it. It took them 3 months working one inch at a time to reveal the paintings on the 96 square foot wall. They were so happy when they found Charlie Brown and Snoopy! In 2001 they donated the wall to the Schulz Museum, and it was transported to California in a temperature-controlled truck. This charming wall is a real treasure!
