Lime-Sugar Rim
- Begin by zesting a couple of limes and laying the zest on a plate
- Let the zest sit for ten minutes or so to let it dry out
- Pour some coarse sugar over the zest, then mix it all together
- Wet the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip it into the lime sugar
The Cocktail
- 1 cup fresh chopped mango (or jarred), strawberries, or whatever is in season and matches the feelin'!
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce Triple Sec or Cointreau
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1 to 2 tablespoons simple syrup
- 2+ cups ice cubes
Blend until smooth!
Makes 2... easy to double.
