Ingredients
10 - 7” Flour Tortillas
Filling
1 lb Ground Beef
¼ Cup Flour
½ Cup Water
1 tsp Minced Garlic
2 tsp Ground Cumin
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
Salt to taste
Gravy
½ Cube of Butter, Melted
¼ Cup Flour
2 Cup Water
1 tsp Minced Garlic
2 tsp Ground Cumin
2 Tbsp Chili Powder
Salt to taste
Toppings
Shredded Cheese
Chopped Onion
Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
Directions
Filling
Separate ground beef and lightly brown in large frying pan
Blend in Flour and Water
Add Garlic, Cumin, and Chili Powder
Salt to Taste
Simmer covered for 1 hour
Add more water as needed
Gravy
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
Add 1 more cup of water and blend again
Pour into large microwavable cooking bowl (Pyrex)
Cook on high for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened
Salt to taste
Preparation
Soften tortillas in microwave a few at a time for 1 minute, or heat on a lightly oiled frying pan one at a time
Divide meat fillling among tortillas and roll each into to tube shape
Place 2 or 3 on each plate and cover with gravy
Top with shredded cheese, chopped onion, and shredded lettuce
Serve and enjoy!
