This is the best ice cream EVER!
1 quart cream
1 quart milk
1 can evaporated milk
4 eggs
2-1/2 sugar
1/2 t salt
1-1/2 T vanilla
Beat eggs well. Blend in sugar slowly. Add cream, milk, salt and vanilla. Put in freezer can and freeze as directed. Hint: The finer the crushed ice, the smoother the ice cream.

Recipes like this are going extinct - because it uses raw eggs. This is the absolutely best ice cream though, so if you are weary of raw eggs, you could try egg substitute.
