Basic Smoothie

3-4 large strawberries

1/2 C blueberries

1 banana

1/2 C orange juice or milk

1/2 C plain yogurt

a squeeze of honey

2 tsp vanilla

2-4 Tb sugar (let be honest, we usually go for more than less. that's why we use protein powder ;-)

6 ice cubes

1-2 Tb. frozen spinach (optional)

1/2 a scoop of protein powder (optional)

Mix until smooth and enjoy!

You can change this recipe to fit whatever you have on hand but this is a basic outline. AND..Try the spinach! You can't taste it at all and I am always thrilled my little boy is eating spinach!
