Nutella Swirl Danish Ring

What you need:

For the Danish:

    • 2 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
    • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup Nutella

For the Glaze:

    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 2 tsp. milk

Directions:

    1. Separate the crescents into triangles and set aside 4 triangles for the top.
    2. On a round baking pan (I used a pizza pan with foil), place 12 triangles in a circle with the wide ends on the outside and points towards the center, leaving a circle in the center.
    3. Press the seams together with your fingers. You want this to be about a 14-inch circle.
    4. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla. Beat on low speed with a hand mixer until smooth.
    5. Spread onto dough within a 1/2-inch of the edges. Dollop with Nutella and swirl with a knife.
    6. Cut the reserved 4 triangles into thirds and arrange evenly spaced on the top. Press down on the outer edges.
    7. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
    8. While the danish ring cools, make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
    9. Drizzle glaze over the danish and serve!
