Bacon Cheeseburger Spaghetti

What you need:

    • 6 slices thick cut bacon, diced
    • 1 lb. spaghetti
    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 3/4 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
    • 1 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1 small onion, diced
    • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
    • 1/2 cup pickle chips
    • 1/2 cup ketchup
    • 1/2 cup yellow mustard
    • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 2 cups shredded lettuce
    • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
    • 3 green onions, sliced

Directions:

    1. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate with a slotted spoon. Reserve 1 Tbsp. of bacon grease in the skillet.
    2. While bacon cooks, cook spaghetti according to box directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
    3. In reserved bacon grease, cook ground beef with onion, crumbling as you go, until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
    4. Stir in pickles and cherry tomatoes. Cook for an additional minute or two.
    5. Add ketchup and mustard and cook for another minute.
    6. Add cooked spaghetti with shredded cheese. Add reserved pasta water, if needed to loosen up.
    7. Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts.
    8. Stir in lettuce, sesame seeds, and bacon.
    9. Serve topped with green onions and additional sesame seeds.
