Cheesy Gnocchi Skillet

What you need:

    • 16 oz. potato gnocchi
    • 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 lb. Italian sausage
    • 2 cloves minced garlic
    • 1 can diced tomatoes
    • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    • 1/4 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Directions:

    1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
    2. Cook gnocchi for about 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan.
    3. Add sausage and cook until browned, crumbling as you go. Remove from pan.
    4. Add garlic, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for 7 minutes.
    5. Add gnocchi and sausage back to the pan. Then stir in cream. Heat until warm.
    6. Top with cheese and allow to melt.
