Cheesy Gnocchi Skillet
What you need:
- 16 oz. potato gnocchi
- 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
Directions:
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Cook gnocchi for about 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pan.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, crumbling as you go. Remove from pan.
- Add garlic, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for 7 minutes.
- Add gnocchi and sausage back to the pan. Then stir in cream. Heat until warm.
- Top with cheese and allow to melt.
