Friday group went really well. I sent the group via email the Speaker's role, tips and experience (that we all developed) before the circle and then when they got here I printed it off and gave them a copy.
They really liked the info on the Speaker and were very appreciative of receiving it. They recommended that we may want to add the following to "what the Speaker's experience might be":
*May want to say you felt heard, even if you didn't, because you don't want to hurt the Listener's feelings.
*A sense of frustration or irritation if the listener isn't reflecting back in a way that connects.
*A sense of anxiety if the topic is uncomfortable for the Speaker or if the Speaker doesn't know what to talk about.
