What feedback do you have on this handout about the Listener?
Edwin
I like that the handout starts to create a framework for exploring and articulating the Listener Role. It’s very helpful for that.
For descriptions I’d move from the word Think more to the word Sensing. Make it less analytical and move toward an awareness for the feelings.
I’m interested and curious to be more aware of my state of mind as the listener. And to be able to articulate and explore it so that I can deepen my listening.

Ingrid, I was so happy to see the job you've been putting into the facilitator training. I think it looks solid and clear.
I love the first 2 tips about “What are some tips related to reflecting back?”. Concrete wordings is a great way to help understand what to do and how to reflect back and what it looks like.
Maybe adding in the experience about if you disagree or are being triggered, what to do or how to react? And say that’s OK be disagree and be angry but to learn to park it for the listening time.
What about adding for more ressources check here… give more resources from others content about effective listening
What about note writing? clarifying if the listener can take notes (I saw that online some people like to take notes) and why yes or why not?
Adding a note like: Make sure to reduce potential distraction (phone turned off, if online make sure you’re in a private space where you’ll not be interrupted o we can see other people walking behind)
Re: Lewis’ comment during the circle, reflecting back silently. Empathic energy, presence more powerful that words.
