Here is an organ systems overview by the Ameba Sisters
The rest of the year we will explore anatomy and physiology by learning in detail about each system. Your year long project will be to fully display, teach, and conduct a demonstration about one of the organ systems.
The first step is to choose a partner and then a system. Every pair needs to have a different system.
The group that chooses the immune and lymphatic system can be a group of 3 since it is almost 2 systems that use the same organs.
Spend the next 10 minutes choosing your partner and then discussing which organ system you would like to sign up for. After 10 minutes you will be asked to go to the sign up sheet and choose your system.
For your system you are going to create:
-A poster and presentation = 50pts
-A model with explanation = 50pts
-A class demo and activity = 50pts
Each of these items will be due throughout the year and have check points. For the demo and activity the teacher can assist you and order any supplies you request.
Each item has a separate rubric on how to earn the full 50pts.
