Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez still a Kapuso; signs anew with GMA Network

Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez continues her journey as a Kapuso as she recently renewed her exclusive contract with GMA Network.

Winwyn is one of the network’s home-grown and talented artists. She feels blessed and thankful with her contract renewal with the Kapuso Station.

“I am very, very happy to stay here in my home network. Sobrang saya ko. My manager and the Entertainment Content Group, they are really doing their best to give me something na babagay sa akin.”

The Kapuso actress shared that for her next TV project, she wants to challenge herself and try action, “I want to do action. Gusto ko mala-Lara Croft or Scarlett Johansson. Iyon yung mga gusto kong gawin. Kung merong magandang project, I would love to do that.”

Present in the contract-signing were GMA Entertainment Content Group Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable; GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara; GMA Assistant Vice President for Drama Productions Cheryl Ching-Sy; Senior Program Manager Bang Arespacochaga, Geleen Eugenio and Winwyn’s manager Arnold Vegafria.

Winwyn made a milestone in the pageant history as the country’s first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana. She revealed that she’s really enjoying her reign while doing various advocacy projects.

During the contract signing, Rasonable assured Winwyn’s fans that the Network will continue to provide quality projects for the international beauty queen, “Nag-uusap na kami with her manager regarding a project for primetime pero i-a-announce namin pag naplantsa na lahat. Winywyn has proven herself as a very good actress. Bukod dun, marami pa siyang ibang talents like dancing na pwede pa rin niyang gamitin in our other shows. We are committed to support her”. (30)

Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez marks another milestone in pageant history as she bagged Philippines’ first-ever Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 crown last Saturday, November 4 in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia.

The Kapuso actress is the first Filipina and Asian delegate to compete in the said annual pageant that celebrates Hispanic heritage, language and culture.

Winwyn started her career in GMA. She hosted Candies, a lifestyle program which was aired on QTV Channel 11.

She’s also proven her prowess in acting in various Kapuso drama programs Blusang Itim, One True Love, Dormitoryo, Kambal Sirena, The Half Sisters, Little Nanay, Encantadiaand Mulawin vs. Ravena.

Aside from being an actress, Winwyn was one of the regular performers on Network’s musical-variety programs Party Pilipinas and Sunday All Stars.

After winning the coveted crown, Winwyn shared her message as Reina Hispanoamericana on the pageant’s official Facebook page last Sunday.
