Maxpein Del Valle (Belle Mariano) is a spunky teenage probinsyana raised by her grandmother and uncle after her mother died in Japan when she was just 11. Max gets the surprise of her life when her wealthy father, whom she just recently discovered, offers to help pay for her grandmother’s hospitalization. Out of gratitude, Max agrees to her father’s request to live with him and his family in Manila.
Already feeling like a fish out water at home, Max is also treated as an unwelcome outsider in her new school, Benison International School when she stands up to Deib Lohr Enrile,(Donny Pangilinan) the basketball varsity captain. To get back at her, Deib gets their entire batch to prank and bully Max.
However, the more Deib engages Max in their game of cat-dog one-upmanship, the more he realizes that his goal to crush Max’s spirit has transformed into an undeniable crush on the one girl he never thought he would even like.
But the return of their past loves and their various family problems threaten to rip apart Max and Deib’s blossoming and fragile romance.
He's into Her is a coming-of-age story that tackles what the young and the young at heart must be brave enough to fight for: family, friendship, and love.

“Death of a Girlfriend” Reveals How Love Can Be a Deadly Trip
SAN FRANCISCO, MAY 10, 2021 – One victim. Three witnesses. Three versions to what really happened, who saw what, and who was really behind the monstrous crime that unfolds in Death of a Girlfriend.
Two of the hottest rising actors in Philippine cinema, Diego Loyzaga and AJ Raval star in Yam Laranas’ edgy love story, which was inspired by a true-to-life atrocity committed in France that incensed the European nation.
Christine (AJ Raval) and Alonzo (Diego Loyzaga) are a young couple who walk to school through a forest reserve every day. One day, Christine does not show up and Alonzo fears that something has happened.
There are two prime suspects: the creepy forest ranger (Arnold Reyes) and a drug-dealing farmer (Raul Morit). The boyfriend, Alonzo, sees them running from the scene of the crime and reports them to the police, keen on finding out the truth.
At the press conference for the film, Loyzaga said he was drawn to the story because “the movie has your whole attention,” and it has you wondering what will happen next. He adds that “You will be watching on the edge of your seats.”
Death of a Girlfriend is Raval’s sophomore film, and she urges viewers to pay attention to each scene for the viewer to fully grasp the movie’s outcome.
Laranas, known to be a master of the horror and thriller genres like Sigaw (2004) and Aurora (2018), tries his hand at this “mystery-wrapped-in-a-love-story” movie. In creating the movie, Laranas was inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon, presenting a single narrative told from different points of view. He invites viewers to watch the film and “enjoy the mysteries of love.”

Coming from the huge success of the eight-part digital series that ran from June 24 to August 19, 2020 on film producer Black Sheep Films' official Facebook page (@BlackSheepABSCBN) and YouTube channel (/blacksheepPH), "Hello Stranger" evolves as a full-length feature film that is set to premiere February 12, Manila time, on KTX.ph.
Starring Tony Labrusca (Xavier) and JC Alcantara (Mico) as the familiar jock and nerd students, respectively, "Hello Stranger" moves to less familiar territory when these opposite personalities fall in love. Their love and friendship will be tested as they attend a writing camp that will force them to confront conflicts from their past and uncertainties in their future. This spin gives the youth romance genre a fresh but thoughtful take. The earnest energy of the cast that includes Vivoree, Jae Miranda, Gillian Vicencio among others, also radiates with real, palpable warmth.
The Valentine's month offering is helmed by Dwein Ruedes Baltazar from the story and screenplay of Patrick Valencia and Daniel Saniana.
'HELLO STRANGER: THE MOVIE" is an ABS-CBN Black Sheep Films release, runs 105 minutes, is in English and Tagalog with English subtitles, and is unrated.
