No love is too small in GMA’s Magkaibang Mundo

They say height shouldn’t matter in a relationship, but what if that person can fit in the palm of your hand?

Proving that no love is too small, GMA Network’s upcoming series, Magkaibang Mundo follows the unique friendship that soon blossoms into love between a human and a dwarf.

GMA Artist Center star Louise delos Reyes plays the role of Princess, the heiress of a shoe designer and businessman. After being orphaned at a young age, she has to endure the hardships imposed by her wicked aunt and stepcousins. “From being a princess, naging slave. Dream role ko ito e. Actually excitedako kay Princess. Kasi very close siya sa akin dahil daddy’s girl din ako. Nakakarelate ako sa kanya [From being a princess, she becomes a slave. This is my dream role. I’m actually excited to be Princess. The role is very close to me because I am also a daddy’s girl. I can relate to the character],” she said.

She soon develops special feelings for her childhood friend Elfino, who just happens to be a dwarf.

Elfino is played by Kapuso hunk Juancho Triviño. His character befriends Princess and becomes her confidante after the death of her father.

Juancho is excited about being paired with Louise for the first time and hopes that viewers will warm up to and support their tandem. “Nang pumasok ako sa industriya, tinitingnan ko rin siyempre 'yung mga posible kong maka-partner, at isa na si Louise doon. Sa chemistry part, siguro dahil matagal na kaming magkakilala and comfortable na kami sa isa't isa kaya nakikitaan na kami ng kilig. I’m very happy to be working with her [When I entered the industry, of course I was looking at those I could possibly be paired with, and Louise was one of them. In terms of chemistry, I think that can be seen because we’re very comfortable with each other after having known each other for a long time],” he said.

Magkaibang Mundo is set to premiere on GMA’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV on May 23. (30)
