TFC@theMovies Unveils a New Enrique Gil in the Suspense-Action-Thriller, “Dukot”,

in U.S. and Canada theaters starting July 22

Heartthrob Enrique Gil goes out of his comfort zone in the action-suspense-thriller, “Dukot”, directed by Paul Soriano (Kid Kulafu, Thelma, Transit). Known more for his roles in romantic comedies and drama, Gil shows range as Carlo, a young man rebelling against his father who has been accused of corruption in government. When armed men robs his sister’s yoga studio, Carlo convinces them to kidnap him instead of his sister, owner and manager of the place. This starts the frightening saga of Carlo as he faces a life-and-death situation while the ruthless gang of criminals deals with his father and the police who try to rescue him. Gil co-stars with an impressive cast that includes Ricky Davao, Christopher De Leon, Shaina Magdayao, Bangs Garcia, Alex Vincent Medina, Bing Pimentel, among others. AlDub’s Imagine You & Me to be shown internationally

Imagine You & Me, the anniversary film offering from the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, which premiered in Philippine cinemas last July 13, will also capture hearts worldwide with international screenings in US, Guam, Canada, Italy, UK, Australia, Singapore, UAE and New Zealand.

The news, posted on the film’s official Facebook account, thrilled AlDub fans across the world who are excited to celebrate a year of love and laughter which began with the pair’s serendipitous encounter on the Philippines’ longest-running noon time show Eat Bulaga last year. The film, produced by APT Entertainment, GMA Films, and M-Zet Television, Inc, has already become a hit at the box office, drawing thousands of moviegoers across the Philippines on its opening day.

TFC@theMovies Brings JaDine to International Screens via “This Time

It’s back to the theaters for movie fans this weekend as TFC@theMovies presents the much awaited international debut of the James Reid-Nadine Lustre big screen starrer, This Time. Directed by Nuel Crisostomo Naval, a veteran director for hit TV shows shown on ABS-CBN TFC like “Maala-ala Mo Kaya” and “Magkaribal” and blockbuster films like “A Love Affair”, This Time is already a huge hit in the Philippines where it opened last May 4. ABS-CBN’s TFC@theMovies scored significant milestones for the blockbuster hit, Just The 3 Of Us”, starring John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado, both of whom have not only been starring in box office hits but have been winning critical acclaim and awards for their recent films. Directed by the illustrious Cathy Garcia Molina, who has helmed many of the most successful and memorable films in Philippine cinema, “Just The 3 Of Us” screened this May in Asia Pacific, Middle East and North America. For ABS-CBN Asia Pacific, John Lloyd Cruz attended a special screening in Malaysia last May 8, Mother’s Day. The movie is also screening on May 14 and 15 at the newly renovated Rex Cinemas in Singapore. For ABS-CBN Europe, Middle East and Africa, there was first-ever screening at Delphi Filmpalast along Kantstraße, Berlin, Germany – venue of Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival) and they also conducted a livestreamed press conference with media from London, Dubai and Manila with the stars and the director. It was Jennylyn Mercado’s first TFC live event and she was exuberant about taking part in it. The movie has been extended in the Middle East in UAE Cinemas. On February 20, the film goes to United Kingdom, and then screens on February 21 in Italy and France.
