In Samar, where poverty and malnutrition are at alarming levels, Atom comes face to face with those suffering from lack of food—children who are severely wasted. There is enough food in the country for everyone, yet 296,869 metric tons of rice is wasted every year in the country, enough to feed 2 million Filipinos.

It was actually Alden’s idea to spend a special day with his fans. He came up with the concept last November 2017 and he was so hands-on with everything he even attended all the pre-production meetings.

GMA Network’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV provided full support to the recent back-to-back events organized by the Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA) for local and international nursing delegates.
The events held in Manila last January 25 and 26 dubbed, “Filipino Nurses Global Summit II” and “11th International Nursing Conference” are part of the PNAA’s efforts to fulfil its purpose “as an organization responsive to Filipino-American nurses’ needs and as a positive force in the world arena of nursing.”

Portraying Mia and Miko are two of today’s promising young actors Mikee Quintos and Mikoy Morales. Mikee, who won as the Best New Female TV Personality at the 2017 Star Awards for TV, is best known for her role as Lira in the hit telefantasya series Encantadia. Mikoy, on the other hand, is a finalist in the reality TV show Protégé: The Battle for The Big Artista Break.
