Three times the fun as GMA Pinoy TV brings Kalyeserye Lolas to California
The Philippines’ longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga has undeniably become a staple in households across the globe with viewers regularly tuning in to GMA’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV for their daily dose of fun and laughter.
Through the entertaining segments and the hosts’ hilarious antics, the show has endeared itself to millions of viewers abroad who are longing to be closer to their homeland.

Truly, Filipinos in California who can’t get enough of Eat Bulaga’s phenomenal Kalyeserye segment can hardly wait to see the popular Kalyeserye Lolas live in a series of shows from March 22 to 24.
The wacky triumvirate of Lola Nidora, Tinidora and Tidora, portrayed by Wally Bayola (Nidora), Jose Manalo (Tinidora) and Paolo Ballesteros (Tidora), will be joined by the stars of the GMA romantic-comedy series That’s My Amboy, Kapuso Teen Queen Barbie Forteza and hunk matinee idol Andre Paras. They will headline their first-ever international event abroad, titled “The Lolas of Kalyeserye visit California!”
Kapuso fans are definitely in for a delightful experience as Philippine Comedy Queen Ms. Ai-Ai delas Alas joins JoWaPao and AnBie, portraying the role of Lola Babah from Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.
With only a few days to go, excitement for the upcoming event has been building on social media as well.
“We are ready for JoWaPao concert… See u there!!!” says Facebook user Leony Hilario as she gears up for an entertaining show from the comedic trio popularly known by the amalgam of their first names, JoWaPao.
“God bless you three JOWAPAO… sna patuloy kayong mapagpasaya ng mga tao…” says Nelly Manguiat, echoing the sentiments of many around the world who have laughed along with the trio and the rest of the Dabarkads through the years.
JoWaPao begins their California adventure with Barbie and Andre at the Fox Theatre in Redwood City, San Francisco on March 22 before heading to the Saban Theatre in Los Angeles on March 23. Their final stop will be at the California Center for the Arts in San Diego on March 24.
Gates will open at 7 pm and the show proper begins at 7:30 pm. For San Francisco and San Diego, regular tickets are priced at $58, $68 and $78 each while VIP tickets will be sold at $103 each at the respective events’ venues. Meanwhile, for Los Angeles, regular tickets are priced at $58, $68 and $88 each, and VIP tickets are at $108 each.

GMA’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV gears up for a highly entertaining and laughter-filled Kapuso experience as it brings Eat Bulaga’s popular Kalyeserye Lolas – Nidora (Wally Bayola), Tinidora (Jose Manalo) and Tidora (Paolo Ballesteros) – to California for a series of shows titled “The Lolas of Kalyeserye visit California!”
